China Circus Elites

At the Wuqiao School of Acrobatic Arts in the heart of China, children aged between seven and seventeen are training to be tomorrow's acrobatic stars. It's a grueling program where the saying 'no gain without pain' has true meaning. They are there because they have raw talent, but they will also need emotional strength, determination and an incredible desire to succeed in this ancient but highly demanding art form.
We join the 'intensive group' as they strive to perfect their skills in time for the prestigious Gold Lion Festival in Zunyl. As you watch these young performers twist and turn, and lift themselves with little regard for the ravages of gravity, it becomes apparent that most of our limitations must be learned. For these children, the impossible is part of their daily routine.
